Enter and Skate at Your Own Risk: By entering The Rink at Belmar, you assume full responsibility for any injuries or losses incurred while skating. The Rink at Belmar is a community facility and is not liable for any incidents. We reserve the right to remove anyone from the ice for safety reasons.
Waiver Requirement:All participants must sign a liability waiver prior to skating. For those under 18, a parent or guardian must sign on their behalf. A link to the waiver will be provided on the confirmation page after ticket purchase.
Skating Rules:
Check-In:All skaters must check in at the skate hut to receive a wristband for skating and rentals. The wristband, which indicates your one-hour skate time, must be worn and visible at all times. A valid ID is required as collateral for skate rentals, which will be returned when the skates are returned.
Skating Risks:Ice skating is an inherently dangerous activity that can result in injury or death. You assume all risks associated with skating, including those related to your health, skill level, and the actions of other participants.
Skate Safety:Ensure your skates are snug and properly fitted. Do not skate while carrying children or items such as cameras, handbags, backpacks, headphones, or strollers. No one is permitted on the ice while the resurfacer is in motion. No one is allowed on the ice without skates. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Facility Boundaries:Stay out of non-public areas and areas without protective mats. All rental skates must remain on the black matting at all times.
Personal Items:The rink is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
Skating Etiquette:Be courteous to others and skate with the flow of traffic (counterclockwise). Racing, human chains, tag games, and reckless skating are prohibited. Respect fellow skaters, staff, and equipment.
No Climbing:Do not climb, sit, or leave items on the rink's dasher boards.
Facility Rules:Food, drinks, alcohol, smoking, and illegal substances are not allowed on the premises. Do not chop at the ice with your skates or any other objects. Hockey sticks, pucks, balls, or skate assisters are not allowed on the ice.
Liability:The Rink at Belmar, along with its partners and sponsors, is not liable for any injuries, damages, or lost property. By entering the rink, you agree to abide by these rules.
Infractions:Violating any of these rules may result in the loss of skating privileges and removal from the rink.
